Resident Meal Plans
CURRENT TERMS
- For the Fall semester, Raptor Dollars roll over for use in the Spring semester; unused meal swipes expire at the end of the Fall semester. At the end of the Spring semester, unused meal swipes and Raptor Dollars terminate.
Up until the ninth week of classes in each semester, a student may receive a pro-rated refund of the meal plan cost if the student follows the housing termination process outlined in the section titled “Housing Contract Cancellation Acknowledgement.” No pro-rated refund of a meal plan cost will be processed after the ninth week of classes in each semester or if a student’s housing contract is terminated for other reasons outlined in the contract.
- If a student terminates their housing contract, but remains enrolled in classes, they can retain their meal plan and use it as a commuter student. This process is done in the housing contract under “Meal Plans.” Students can indicate that they want to keep their meal plan by checking the appropriate box
- To Exchange the Weekly 14 to a Block 180 Students Need to Contact https://apps.camden.rutgers.edu/dining at least one week prior to the first day of classes. If a student downgrades to a Block 180 in the Fall, they will have a Block 180 applied to term bill in the Spring.
PURCHASE PATHWAY
When a student signs up for housing, the appropriate meal plan cost is automatically applied to their term bill. The bill is paid through Student Accounts Receivable (SAR) process as are refunds.
Commuter Meal Plans
TERMS
- Commuter students are not required to purchase annualized meal plans.
- Students will be able to automatically remove their own meal plan up until August 18, 2025. After that they will have to contact Dining Operations via email.
- Up until the ninth week of classes in each semester, a student may receive a pro-rated refund of the meal plan cost if the student formally withdraws from classes by completing the university withdrawal form.
- Unused meal swipes and Raptor Dollars roll over to the spring semester. At the end of the Spring semester all unused meal swipes and Raptor Dollars terminate.
PURCHASE PATHWAY
Students can purchase voluntary meal plans online by visiting this Rutgers portal: https://rcit.rutgers.edu/apps/gourmet/ The cost of the plan is added directly to students’ term bill. The bill is paid through Student Accounts Receivable (SAR) process.
